SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Ahead of the 2019 Rowing Season, junior Kelsey Shinn and sophomore Emily Sprigings have been named to the West Coast Conference Preseason Team while the Gaels were picked to finished fifth above Creighton and Santa Clara.
 
In 2018, Saint Mary's finished fifth at the WCC Championship and has built up momentum over the fall's competitions. In their three races, SMC saw multiple boats receive top marks. The Gaels' spring will consist of seven races, starting with the Sac State Invitational on March 9 and culminating with West Coast Conference Championship on May 18.
