VANCOUVER, Wash. – Squaring off against Portland and Seattle at the Portland Invite, the Saint Mary's Varsity Eight Boat placed first for the second time in the last three races.
SMC's Second Varsity Eight finished 23 seconds behind Portland and Varsity Four was just 12.73 seconds behind the Pilots.
"The team has been working hard and it was really good to get out and race again after last weekend," said head coach Anna Pytlak. "Thanks to Portland and Seattle. It was a great competition in tough conditions!"
