4/30/2019 3:10:00 PM | Men's Tennis
Senior psychology major Daniel Krutik was one of 12 student-athletes to be named All-Academic on Tuesday.
SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Gaels' senior Daniel Krutik has been named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team for his superb work in the classroom. Krutik boasted a 3.42 GPA this year and studied psychology with an emphasis in neuroscience.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to her team.
Krutik was an integral member of the Gaels' lineup as he led the team with a 4-3 conference record in singles play. Mostly playing out of the No. 5 spot, Krutik excelled in that position with a 5-3 record and was 5-2 overall over his last 10 matches.
In doubles play, the senior tied for second on the team with three conferences wins, all which came alongside David Abfalter.
