The senior was named Saint Mary's Student-Athlete of the Week after scoring against UND on Sunday.
MORAGA, Calif. — Jaylen Crim has been named the Saint Mary's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Aug. 19-26 for her goal against North Dakota on Sunday.
Crim scored the lone goal of the game for SMC in the 52nd minute off a corner kick that she managed to punch in behind the Fighting Hawks' keeper. The goal gave Saint Mary's the lead in the match and it was the team's first tally of the 2019 season.
The senior Crim led Saint Mary's in scoring last year with 11 points and in shots with 28. The forward already has four attempts at goal this year through two matches.
Saint Mary's next contest is their home opener this Thursday at 3:30 p.m. versus Green Bay. Tickets for the match can be purchased by clicking here or at the stadium entrance up to one hour prior to kick off.
