

Damon Kesaris Earns Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week

MORAGA, Calif. — Damon Kesaris from men's tennis was named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Mar. 8 to 14 after going a perfect 5-0 last week at the Golden Gate Invitational in Sacramento.
Kesaris went 2-0 in singles with wins against Fresno State and Nevada and 3-0 in doubles while paired with Fabian Roensdorf. The senior, who is ranked No. 23 in the nation, won both his singles matches in straight set fashion and two of his three doubles wins came in the 6-2 variety.
The Gaels return to the court on Wednesday for a tough road contest against Stanford. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
