LOS ANGELES — Saint Mary's (4-13, 1-5 WCC) wrapped up their Los Angeles road trip on Saturday on the campus of Loyola Marymount but fell 4-1 to the Lions.

LMU (6-6, 3-0 WCC) took the doubles point with wins from their No. 2 and 3 tandems. Saint Mary's duo of James Watt and Boris Reckow led on Court 1 by a 6-5 score but the match was called before it could finish.

Matis Bot earned the Gaels' lone singles win as the team's No. 4 player. The Frenchman squared off against Ethan Prost and took down his opponent in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. All four singles matches were decided in two sets. Damon Kesaris was headed to a third set with his opponent Daniel Moreno before the match was called.

Saint Mary's will have next week off before returning to the courts on April 23 to face off with Gonzaga in Moraga.
