MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's College's Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics
Mike Matoso announced today the naming of the Arnaudon Family Practice Facility inside Madigan Gym.

The financial generosity from John Arnaudon '81 and his wife Tracy, has benefitted the entire athletics department for many years. Arnaudon is the President and CEO of Concord Kia/Mitsubishi, and has been for 35 years, is a longtime member of the Board of Trustees, a member of the SMC Athletics Hall of Fame and a former Gael football student-athlete.

The naming of Arnaudon Family Practice Facility is in recognition of two $500,000 donations to Gael Athletics in the past three years. In total, the Arnaudons have donated over $2.5 million to Saint Mary's College.

"I cannot thank John and Tracy enough for this latest gift and their unwavering support of Saint Mary's athletics by honoring their giving with the naming of the Arnaudon Family Practice Facility," Matoso said. "This facility has been a critical piece to the success of our department and helping us raise the level of athletic success within the program."

"He and his wife Tracy have been extremely generous to the College, and I am deeply grateful for their most recent gifts which will benefit our student-athletes and contribute to Saint Mary's ongoing athletics success."

Arnaudon was instrumental in the major improvements to the practice court and workout area inside Madigan Gym, turning the historic building into a top-notch Division I facility for all indoor sports.

"John has a tremendous amount of passion for Saint Mary's College and it shows every day on this campus," Head Men's Basketball Coach
Randy Bennett said. "We have been able to grow the department and our basketball program thanks in large part to John. I cannot thank him enough for all that he has done over the years."

"In particular, John's time, leadership and dedication to the college as a trustee during the pandemic was incredible, and we owe him a lot of thanks. For me personally, John is an inspiration who transforms lives through his commitment to the Lasallian mission. I am thrilled that the Madigan Practice Facility will bear the Arnaudon name."
