BERKELEY, Calif. - Saint Mary's Women's Tennis returned to the Cal Fall Invite where Jordan Harris won the Gold Singles bracket by defeating Emily Ackerman of Cal Poly 6-2, 6-3 in the final.
 
Harris made her way to the Gold Singles Final by defeating UC Santa Barbara's Marta Gonzalez-Ballbe 6-0, 6-3 in the first round. In the second round Harris took down ASU's Natasha Hill 6-1, 6-3 before beating BYU's Julia Huang 6-4, 6-4 and No. 1 Leah Heimuli 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the final.
 
Gabriela Tevez advanced to the quarterfinal by defeating San Diego's Nnena Nadozie 6-7, 6-0, 2-0, and No. 5 Zoe Eberle of University of the Pacific 6-2, 2-6, 7-5, before a loss to No. 2 Anastasia Goncherova. Stefanie Silva notched a victory over Nevada's Cristina Moll 6-4, 6-1 in the first round of the Gold Singles, before a loss to No. 1 Heimuli of BYU.
 
In the Blue Singles Bracket, Julia Ronney defeated No. 7 Klara Kosan of the University of the Pacific 6-1, 6-3, before a 6-3, 6-3 loss to Tamara Arnold of San Diego State University.
 
The White Singles bracket featured a nice run from No. 6 Olivia Rook into the semifinal round before a loss to UOP's Cindy Ung 2-6, 7-3, 7-6.
 
On the doubles side, the tandem of Jocelyn Massey and Ronney advanced into the semifinals of the Gold Doubles bracket defeating teams from UOP 8-6, and USF 8-4, before an 8-5 loss to Cal. The combination of Rook and Silva won the White Doubles consolation bracket defeating teams from Sacramento State 8-1 and UOP 8-4.
