GOLF | Wolf Pack Classic in Reno up Next for Gaels

RENO, Nev. – Saint Mary's Golf will take part in the Wolf Pack Classic hosted by Nevada at the Hidden Valley Country Club this Monday and Tuesday.
It's the second year of Nevada's restart of their tournament that previously ran continuously from 1987-2010, and outside of a three-year gap from 1984-86, goes back to 1976. Hidden Valley Country Club is a par 72 course and 7302 yards overall.
In last year's return of the tournament, former Gael Michael Slesinski rocketed up the board in round three when he shot 7-under par with a 65 for the 11th-best single round versus par in program history.
Kristian Bressum shot a 71 in round three last year, dropping his score by four strokes in every round to finish with a 222 overall and making par 36 times to get in the top 25 in his second collegiate tournament.
Conditions are expected to be great for golfing this week, after rough conditions in the first two rounds last year with snow and hail showers along with strong winds.
THE FIELD
The Gaels will take on San Diego State, BYU, Fresno State, LMU, New Mexico, USF, Colorado, UNLV, San Diego, UCLA, and host Nevada.
