MTEN | Run for Potts and Jarry Ends in Round of 16

BERKELEY, Calif. – A good run by the Gaels doubles tandem of Caelan Potts and Diego Jarry at the ITA Regionals came to an end Saturday after advancing to the round of 16.
The SMC pairing lost 8-2 against Loris Zisswiller and Satchel Benn of Nevada.
Potts and Jarry defeated the No. 5 tandem from Cal in Alex Chjang and Lucas Magnaudet 8-6 to reach the round of 16 and take on a Nevada combo who pulled off their own upset in the second round. Zisswiller and Benn defeated the No. 3 pairing from Santa Clara 8-7 with an 11-9 tie breaker to create the match up of Cinderellas in the third round.
