MORAGA, Calif. —  Saint Mary's Women's Basketball continues their conference play schedule with another Thursday-Saturday set of games. Saturday's home game will have a pink SMC T-shirt giveaway to the first 500 fans in attendance. 

The Gaels will be on the road Thursday facing the Pilots in Portland, and will return home for a rematch against  No. 20 BYU. 

Senior Taycee Wedin is the new record holder of Saint Mary's career record for three pointers, setting the record last Thursday at home against Santa Clara, and has since extended the record to a total of 275 threes.

The Gaels got a road win in their last game at Santa Clara, defeating the Broncos 88-81, winning their third game in a row to improve them to 12-10 on the year and 6-5 in conference play. Ali Bamberger led the Gaels with a double-double, dropping 22-10 with 4 assists. Dalton had 18 points and Wedin finished with 15.

ABOUT PORTLAND

Last season Portland finished 14-13 on the year, and 9-8 in conference play, dropping their first game in the West Coast Conference Tournament to LMU. The Pilots returned their two leaders Haylee Andrews and Alex Fowler, both named to WCC preseason all conference team. 
 

Portland comes into this game ranked 3rd in the conference scoring 71.5 points per game, allowing 59.6. Fowler is 3rd in the WCC in scoring with 17.7 ppg, and 4th in the conference with 7.6 rebounds per game. Andrews leads the conference in assists per game with 5.9, and Cochrane leads the conference in steals with 3.6. 
 

The Gaels are 47-25 all time against the Pilots, however they have lost in their past 4 meetings. 
 

ABOUT BYU

BYU comes into this one scoring 77.4 ppg, and allowing just 58.7. The ranked Cougars have the conference's second leading scorer in Gonzales with 18.1 ppg. They also have the conference's leading rebounder with Gustin pulling 12 per game. 

The Gaels are 10-13 all time against BYU, looking to snap a 4 game skid against them.
