PALO ALTO, Calif. – Saint Mary's Golf will play in the Goodwin Invitational hosted by Stanford University March 24-26.
 
This year there will be 28 teams competing plus individuals. The event will be held at Stanford Golf Course which will be oriented as a Par 71, 6,742-yard course for the tournament. 
 
Tee times for the morning wave run from 7:00-9:06 a.m. PT off holes number one and 10 at 14-minute increments. The afternoon wave will tee off between 12:10-2:16 p.m. PT.  The pairings for round one and round two will be the same, with round three tee times based on scoring.
 
The Gaels finished fifth in their most recent appearance at the Goodwin in 2021.
 
In 2014, Stanford renamed its annual tournament 'The Goodwin' in honor of the legendary head coach. Up until that time it had been called the United States Intercollegiate.
