MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's Men's Tennis wasn't able to upset the No. 20 Pepperdine Waves on Saturday at the Korth Tennis Courts as Pepperdine won 4-0.
SMC tied up the doubles portion at 1-1 after Felipe and Rincon and Caelan Potts defeated Enrique Rico Luque and Tim Zeitvogel 6-4 before the Waves would eventually take the doubles point. But it would take a 7-3 tiebreaker to prevent James Watt and Boris Reckow from clinching the doubles point for the Gaels in a 7-6 loss.
