FRESNO, Calif. – Sophomore
Connor Reis climbed into the top 20 in round three at the Nick Watney Invitational hosted by Fresno State, finishing 16th overall among 93 golfers.

Reis was 2-under par for the tournament after shooting a 69 in round three and finished at 211 strokes. The Claremont, Calif. native made birdie 12 times in the three rounds to lead the Gaels as well. Reis,
Kristian Bressum, and
Ryan Hartanto were all 4-under on par fives.

Mitchell Hoey was SMC's best on par threes in the tournament, finishing 1-under for a tie for third among all golfers. Bressum and
Jonathan Curran each finished at 215 strokes overall and Hoey was right behind them with a 216.

Saint Mary's as team finished in the middle of the pack overall and statistically outside of total pars made, where they were fifth overall by making par 169 times.
