Jensen Becomes the Third Women Soccer Player to Earn Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week

MORAGA, Calif. - Graduate student Emily Jensen has earned Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week award for the week of October 16th after scoring the Gaels game-winning goal over Gonzaga.
Jensen was able to score the game winner after Emmie Ennis weaved through the Zags defenders creating a throw-in for the Gaels deep in the Bulldogs end of the field. Kyllie Glock received the throw-in from Emma Barthel where she passed it to Makena Carr in the midfield. Carr made a long pass right into the box where Jensen was able to head the ball into the lower right corner of the net past the diving keeper.
This season, all of Jensen's goals (3) have been game winners for the Gaels, giving her nine points for the 2023 season. Jensen has a total of 13 goals, 34 points, and six game winning goals over her course as a Gael.
Back on August 28th of 2022, Jensen received the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week for her two goals and assist in a 3-0 win against San Jose State University.
