GOLF | Bressum 3-Under Par After Round One in Hawai'i

LIHUE, KAUA'I, Hawai'i – Kristian Bressum is currently 22nd out of 126 golfers at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate after finishing round one 3-under par.

Due to weather concerns over the next two days on Kaua'I, the tournament tried to squeeze in as many holes as possible on day one, and get ahead of the expected rain in the next few days. The goal is to get at least 36 holes in to qualify it as an official event.

Round two was started on day one, and Bressum, Ethan Ashbrook, Henry Fitzhugh, and Zack Missigman all got 10 holes of round two in, and Mitchell Hoey is nine holes into the second round.

The tournament will resume tomorrow where teams left off in round two at 8:30 a.m. Hawaiian Time, weather pending.

The Gaels are currently 12th of 21 teams after round one. Ashbrook is currently 1-under par which has him in the top 40 at 39th.
