GOLF | Ashbrook Finishes Strong in San Diego

SAN DIEGO – Ethan Ashbrook finished 1-under par in round three at the 2023 Lamkin San Diego Classic, putting him 27th of 95 golfers.
Ashbrook saved his best for last in his solid, steady performance, and finished at 218 strokes overall while making birdie 12 times, good for 10th among all golfers.
Fellow Gaels Henry Fitzhugh and Aidan Lee each made eagle in the tournament on hole eight. Fitzhugh also finished 1-under par in the final round to climb 24 spots in the standings and finish at 222 strokes. Lee finished even in round three and at 223 strokes overall.
SMC climbed one spot in the team standings to 13th of 15 teams.
