GOLF | Hoey and Bressum Finish Strong at Cowboy Classic

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Saint Mary's Golfers Kristian Bressum and Mitchell Hoey both rocketed up the leaderboard with 72s in the final round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic.
Bressum finished at 219 strokes over three rounds on the par-three course to get to 29th of 115 golfers. Hoey was right behind him at 220 strokes after a 69 in round one but a 79 in round two.
Hoey was even on par threes while Bressum was 1-under on par fours and finished 14 birdies.
The Gaels as a team remained in 15th of 21 teams in round three while being the sixth-best team on par threes for the tournament at 11-over.
