MORAGA, Calif. – The final race of the rowing season is almost here, as the SMC Women's Rowing team aim to finish the 2022-2023 season on a high as they head back to familiar Lake Natoma to battle their WCC counterparts.

SCHEDULE
Races will begin promptly at 8:40 AM with the second varsity four. The varsity four will follow at 9 AM. The second varsity eight race begins at 9:20 AM, and the morning racing will conclude with the varsity eight at 9:40 AM.
LAST TIME OUT
The Gaels made great strides when they last hit the water in the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championship.
The teams competed in 10 races over Saturday and Sunday, as all the boats improved on their best times this season.
Both varsity and novice 4 boats stole the show this weekend, as they raced consistently across the two days on Lake Natoma.
Saturday's racing was highlighted by a heat win in heat 2 of the Novice 4 as SMC won the heat with a time of 7:50.14.
On Sunday, both 4 boats finished 2
nd in their respective finals, as the Varsity 4 crossed the line in the petite final with a 8:21.49, as the novice four finished with a 8:17.47.
