Box Score SEATTLE, Wash. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team competed in their first head-to-head match early Sunday morning falling short 4-3 to Seattle University. 
 
The day started off with the doubles where the Redhawks took the first point defeating Gaels duo Olivia Rook and Maddison Weekley and duo Stefanie Silva and Sofia Daryaie. 
 
Rook was the first to finish her singles match defeating Jade Quintana 6-1, 6-3. The Redhawks took the second two matchups against the Gaels Daryaie 4-6, 2-6 and Tian Yu Dong 3-6, 0-6. 
 
Seattle University took a 3-1 lead on the Gaels, but Silva and Daries kept SMC alive. Silva defeated Liliya Dimova 6-1, 6-3 and Daries defeated Anastasia Nikolova 6-4, 7(2)-6.
