Box Score SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team took down Sacramento State 4-3, as the Hornets were on a nine game win streak. The Gaels will be entering conference play with a win on their back.
 
Starting off the doubles, the Hornets dominated by securing the first point defeating duo Iman Khan and Olivia Rook and duo Tian Yu Dong and Juliette Daries. The third set of doubles was abandoned. 
 
Rook evened the score by defeating the Hornets Catherine Walker for the first single set 7-5, 6-4. With a tied score, Khan put the Gaels on top defeating Mayya Gorbunova 6-3, 6-4. Sacramento State went on a two set win against Daries 7-5, 6-2 and MiaAngelina Ruja 4-6, 6-1, 6-3. 
 
With a back and forth battle, Sofia Daryaie put a point on the board for the Gaels to even the score. She defeated her opponent 6-1, 6(0)-7(0), 6-4. The tiebreaker score was all up to Stefanie Silva who did not disappoint. Silva led Saint Mary's to the winning point defeating the Hornets Irene Riva …
