WTEN | Gaels Look To Continue Their Longest Win Streak Of Season

MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team is staying in Moraga as they take on CSU Fullerton to continue their longest win streak of this season.

LAST TIMEOUT
The Gaels had a back and forth battle between Portland, defeating the Pilots 4-3, and extending SMC's win streak to four.
The doubles point was secured by Portland as they defeated Saint Mary's duo Juliette Daries and MiaAngelina Ruja and duo Stefanie Silva and Sofia Daryaie.
The Gaels dominated in the first three singles with Silva, Daries, and Daryaie all putting points on the board.
The Gaels hit a bump, letting the Pilots tie the score 3-3, but Olivia Rook outlasted Portland Rimona Rouf 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
ABOUT CSU FULLERTON
The Titans are currently on a three game losing streak, falling short to Long Beach State 5-2, CSUN 4-3, and University of San Diego 6-1. Throughout the season, Fullerton has swept six of the nine teams they have won against, five of these games located at their home court.
Earlier in the season, Freshman Josie Usereau, was named Big West Player of the Week for going 2-0 against LMU, helping them to a 6-1 win. She is the only player from the team to have earned this award so far this season.
