Box Score BERKELEY, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Men's Tennis team came up short to Cal Berkeley 7-0. 
 
The Bears secured the doubles point as Carl Emil Overbeck and Ethan Schiffman defeated SMC Ellison Greco and Carlos Ramos Membrives 6-2, and Berkely duo Alex Chang and Mikey Wright took down the Gaels Paulo Hugo Etchecoin and Diego Jarry. 
 
Cal Berkeley swept the Gaels securing the overall win in the first three sets starting off by defeating Gaels Felipe Rincon 6-3, 6-1, Bears No. 104 Alex Chang outlasted SMC's Diego Jarry 6-3, 6-1, and took down Saint Mary's Paulo Hugo Etchecoin 6-3, 6-0. 
 
The match continued to go on as Berkeley Carl Emil Overbeck defeated Gaels Carlos Ramos Membrives 6-4, 4-6, 10-4. Qian Sun took down Pierre Lieutaud as he put up a fight falling short 5-7, 6-1, 10-7. The Bears put up the final seventh point of the match as Cal's Timofey Stepanov outlasted Saint Mary's Thibaud Maxant 6-4, 3-6, 10-8.
