MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's women's cross country team is heading to Micke Grove Golf Course in Lodi for the Pacific Invite and will begin competing at 6:15PM.
GAEL RECAP
At the Stump Invite, the Gaels sent a reduced team to compete and placed fifth overall. The top runner was redshirt Rayna Stanziano, running unattached, who took second place overall with a time of 17:15.8. She was followed by Andrea Villegas, who crossed the finish line at 17:49.7, finishing in 10th.
Lauren Buckley took 25th with a new personal best of 18:39.7, along with Kaitlin Laner who ran her best time of 19:28.7, good for 43rd.
ABOUT THE RACE
The course is a 2k Loop that is primarily flat on Bermuda Grass with occasional cart path crossing. The Gaels have fared well on this course in the past, winning the Pacific Invite in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
