MXC | Zane Jackson Continues Stellar Start to Gael Career, Named WCC Runner of the Week

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - As just announced by the West Coast Conference, Zane Jackson has been named the Conference Male Runner of the Week after finishing first overall at the Pacific Invite. This is his first WCC award in his collegiate career.
Jackson helped lead the Gaels to a first place finish, their highest finish since 2020. Jackson was the first to cross the finish line with a time of 24:47.5.
Not only did Jackson perform well at the Pacific Invite, he also was only 1.4 seconds off of his time that he ran at the USF Invite, where he placed 10th. He helped the Gaels place second overall at that event as well. Following the week after the USF Invite, Jackson also earned his first Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week award for the week of September 3rd, 2024.
