Jenavee Amador Has Big Offensive Weekend, Earns Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

MORAGA, Calif. — Coming off of a 4-1 weekend at the Mary Nutter Collegiate, Saint Mary's Softball had many standouts, but one of their brightest stars was senior catcher Jenavee Amador. The veteran backstop batted 0.500 on the weekend with three multi-hit ball games. This is Amador's second Shamrock Office Student-Athlete of the Week honors, after winning the award to culminate the 2024 season.
Amador entered the weekend just two for her first 14 on the year, but went eight for 16 at the plate this past week, moving her to second on the team with a 0.333 average. After going 2-6 on day one of the tournament, Amador closed 6-10, including a four RBI game against Hawaii. She also had the eventual game winning RBI in the sixth inning vs Northwestern.
