MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary's Softball offense continues to dazzle in the 2025 campaign. The Gaels rank second in the WCC with a team batting average (0.297) and on-base percentage (0.372) while leading the conference in slugging percentage (0.462). The biggest contributor to the offensive numbers as of late has been sophomore Camille Lara, who is currently riding a team-best seven game hitting streak. Five of those seven games came this past week in the Gaels matchups against UC Davis, Stanford and Pacific, and as such, Lara has been named this week's Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week. 

Camille Lara moved her current hit streak to seven games, logging at least one in all five games this week. Lara opened up her week with her first collegiate triple at UC Davis. She then logged a multi-hit game against 17th ranked Stanford and her third three hit game of the season in the conference opener at Pacific. She scored in four of the five Gael games this week, and drove in a run in three of five. Her average climbed 16 points this week. She also was a perfect 12-12 in the field, including an outfield assist vs Stanford.
