SB | Riding Program-Record 10 Game Winning Streak, Saint Mary’s Ranked 21st in Latest DI Softball Mid-Major Top-25

LOS ANGELES — The Saint Mary's softball team returned to the DI Softball Mid-Major Top-25 poll for the first time in three weeks, checking in at number 21 in this week's poll. The Gaels are off to their best start in program history, at 24-10, and have won 10 contests in a row, also a program first. Saint Mary's appeared in this poll at number 23 three weeks ago, before falling out for the next two weeks, but now return to the mid-major top-25 ranks.
San Diego State, who the Gaels defeated at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, also has been named to the poll, ranked two spots below the Gaels at number 23. Saint Mary's is the only West Coast Conference to appear in the poll. The full rankings can be seen below:

The Gaels will have a chance to climb even higher in the rankings, taking on a pair of top-25 programs, Washington and Stanford, this upcoming week.
