SB | Gaels All-Time Wins Leader Odhi Vasquez Signs with Bravas de Cidra of the Liga Premier de Sóftbol Femenino

CIDRA, P.R. — While Odhi Vasquez's epic Saint Mary's softball career has come to an end, her pitching career has not, as the Upland, California native has signed a professional contract with back-to-back Liga Premier de Softbol Femenino champions Bravas de Cidra. The 2026 campaign for Bravas de Cidra begins May 29 and spans through the end of July.
Vasquez is coming off of one of the most prolific seasons in Saint Mary's history, recording a program-record tying 21 wins, a program-record breaking seven saves, and 151 strikeouts, good for second most in a single season in program history. Over four years, she recorded 52 wins, more than any other player to ever don a Gael uniform, and became the second ever Gael to reach 400 career strikeouts. Vasquez was four times named an All-West Coast Conference honoree, one of just two players in conference history to earn that distinction four times, and was twice named the conference pitcher of the year.
Odhi is one of four new signings for Bravas de Cidra this year, joining Hayley Busby (Oklahoma State), Ciara Bryan (Louisiana) and Carsyn Gordon (Florida State). No stranger to winning softball Vasquez will look to lead her new squad to their third straight league title.
