

MTEN | Thibaud Maxant Highlights WCC All-Academic Team for Saint Mary’s

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team had four West Coast Conference All-Academic selections including a First Team selection in graduate senior Thibuad Maxant. Additional Honorable Mention selections include Paulo Hugo Etchecoin, four-year senior Pierre Lieutaud and second-year Gael Bastien Maxant.
In his first year eligible for the award, sophomore Bastien Maxant got it done on the court and in the classroom with a 3.21 GPA as a Business Administration major, while his older brother capped off his collegiate career with his second consecutive WCC All-Academic Team selection. Thibaud will finish his master's in Accounting at Saint Mary's with an impressive 3.90 GPA.
Both Etchecoin and Lieutaud earned their second consecutive All-Academic Honorable Mention selection to round out the four selections for the Gaels. Lieutaud finished his collegiate career with a 3.41 GPA as an Economics major while Etchecoin logged a 3.67 GPA as a Business Administration major.
