BVB | Zoe Dirisio Comes to Moraga from North of the Border

MORAGA, Calif. — Zoe Dirisio is the latest Gael to introduce on the Saint Mary's Beach Volleyball roster. DiRisio spent last year training with the team, and will look to make her competitive debut with Saint Mary's this year.
"Zoe made great progress after joining us last January, and she has continued to build on that foundation throughout the summer." noted Head Coach Janice Harrer, "Competing in Canada gave her valuable opportunities to challenge herself and continue developing her skills. She has returned this fall more mature, confident, and equipped, and we're seeing that growth translate into her training and play. This is her first true fall with our program, and we're excited to see her continue to develop and find her place within our team."
Dirisio hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and prepped at North Toronto Collegiate Institute. She was a four year varsity standout on the volleyball team, earning team captain and team MVP honors in her time. A gifted athlete, Dirisio competed in a multitude of other sports, including track, tennis and badminton. Dirisio began her collegiate career at the University of Ottawa, before transferring to Saint Mary's ahead of the start of last year's campaign.
Dirisio will be the second international Gael on this year's roster, joining Finland native Helmi Rantala. With a year of training with the squad under her belt, look for Dirisio to make a quick impact in 2027.
