Moraga, CA - Saint Mary's Head Athletic Trainer Scott Anderson announced today Tim Podesta as the Associate Head Athletic Trainer and Cindy Reynolds as the Associate Athletic Trainer for the Saint Mary's Athletic Training Staff.
Podesta, who will be entering his fourth season, will conduct meetings and provide leadership for the Athletic Training Room in the absence of the Head Athletic Trainer. He will assist in hiring, supervising and evaluating athletic training personnel and provide direct supervision for all student assistants. He will also assist in operations and strategic planning.
Reynolds, who will be entering her third season, will serve as the compliance coordinator for all intercollegiate athletic programs, assume leadership in ensuring the training room provides gender equitable services, programs and resources for all student-athletes. She will also assist in managing personnel and collaborate with administrators on preseason in-services and NCAA meetings. She will assist in NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills programming development regarding health and safety topics and serve as a liaison between the Athletic Department and the Student Health and Wellness Center.
"Cindy and Tim have both worked extremely hard, and I am excited for them and also for the future of our athletic training program. Hopefully, this is another positive step in assuring that our student athletes receive the highest standard in quality medical care during their time at Saint Mary's College," Anderson said.
