AS A FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR (2020-21): Played singles and doubles in 17 matches … named First-Team All-WCC in singles … selected to the WCC Preseason Team … named Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week on Mar. 15 for his performances against Fresno State and Nevada … ranked as high as 23rd in singles … had the best singles record on the team (10-4) and tied for the best singles conference record (4-2) … had the best doubles record on the team (10-5) and best doubles conference record (5-2) ... took No. 3 Alexandre Rotsaert of USC to three sets in singles ... finished the season on a four-match winning streak … won three straight matches in doubles on two separate occasions.

AS A SENIOR (2019-20): Appeared in five matches during the spring … named ITA Northwest Region Senior Player of the Year … finished year at No. 17 in the nation in singles and topped out at No. 9 in the Feb. 5 rankings … named to All-WCC Preseason Team ... went undefeated in singles at 4-0 and was 3-1 in doubles action during the spring … played as the Gaels’ No. 1 in singles and at No. 1 and 2 in doubles … all spring wins came in straight sets … during the fall, won the ITA Northwest Regional in Stanford … defeated seven opponents and two ranked players during his run without dropping a single set … advanced to the finals of the ITA Fall Championships as an unranked player before falling to No. 1 Yuya Ito from Texas in three sets … went 5-1 at Fall Championships with three wins over ranked opponents … competed at ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. … also appeared at Milwaukee Tennis Classic and made the semifinals of the Audi Napa Valley Classic.

AS A JUNIOR (2018-2019): Led the Gaels’ efforts this season with a 7-6 record as the top singles player … named to the All-WCC Preseason Men’s Team … named West Coast Conference Doubles Team of the Week with partner Matis Bot after going 2-0 against Portland and Gonzaga in the No. 2 spot … went 4-3 with James Watt as the teams’ top doubles duo … earned a first round bye in the ITA Regionals and advanced to the Round of 32 after a straight set win the Round of 64.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Began the spring with three straight singles victories and won six of his first seven matches...honored to All-WCC First Team after picking up 13 wins during the spring...named Muscle Milk Player of the Week in the team's first week of the season...played in both the Gaels' top singles and doubles spots...won his first four WCC singles matches and finished 5-2...played doubles mainly alongside Nash Vollenweider...won their first three out of their four doubles matches...did not compete during the fall.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): Came to Saint Mary's in the spring and immediately made an impact as the Gaels' top performer...went 10-5 in singles play...was 7-2 from the No. 1 spot and went 4-0 in conference play...also led the team with eight doubles victories...played mainly alongside Nash Vollenweider...posted a streak of 11 straight matches without a loss in singles action...following the season, was named WCC Freshman of the Year...also was named All-WCC First Team Singles and All-WCC Honorable Mention Doubles with Vollenweider...earned his first collegiate win in doubles play with Vollenweider against Holy Names...earned his first collegiate singles victory against San Diego State on Feb. 24....was edged by No. 70 Michael Genender of Stanford in three sets (6-3, 6-7, 6-10)...defeated Connor Finerty of Northern Colorado 6-1, 6-0 in his first match as No. 1 singles...won both of his singles matches in Saint Mary's conference victories.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Graduated from Glenwood High School... Plans to major in Business Administration... Member of the South African Junior Davis Cup team, Junior Commonwealth Games... Ranked No. 1 in South Africa for U-18 Boys... High of No. 93 in the world on the junior circuit... Chose Saint Mary's for the location, good academics, and relationship with the coaching staff... Postgraduate plans include playing professional tennis.
