MORAGA, Calif. — Jordan Ford has been named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of Dec. 31-Jan. 6 after his stellar performances against San Francisco and BYU.
In San Francisco, Ford put up 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting, including three strikes from distance. On Saturday versus the Cougars, the Gaels’ guard put up a game-high of 23 points while also dishing out four assists for a 88-66 win over BYU.
Ford ranks first in the conference in total points (388) and is second in the conference for three-point percentage (.455). He is also ranked fifteenth in the nation for total points per game (22.8) and leads the team with 25 steals.
Saint Mary’s will go on the road this weekend to play LMU on Saturday at 7 p.m. More information on the contest can be found on the Gaels' schedule page.
