Hailing from Fresno, Nishikawa pitched in both of the Gaels matchups against Stanford as part of the Stanford Round Robin. Through 5.2 innings worked in her two outings, Nishikawa did not allow a run, and surrendered just three hits. In her second outing of the week, a Gaels’ 5-1 victory over the Cardinal, Nishikawa earned the start, and faced the minimum through three full innings after rolling a pair of ground ball double plays.
