Junior College: Transferred to Hartnell Junior College from California State Dominguez Hills...in 2002-03 he led the Panthers to a 24-12 overall record before falling in the eventual state champions, Los Angeles City College...garnered the Coast Conference Player of the Year honors...led his team in scoring, averaging 18.3 per game, assists at 5.6 per game, steals with 2.7 per game, and free throw percentage 83.2 percent...also averaged 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor...was an All-American Metro-Index honoree...garnered California All-State honors and was a First Team All-Coast Conference selection...set a Hartnell JC school record by making 203 free throws during his only year with the program.
Dominguez Hills: Played in 27 games and started 14 times as a freshman...averaged 9.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game...was second on the team in assists and fourth in scoring and rebounding average...scored in double figures 12 times and scored 20 points twice...scored as season high 26 points against San Francisco State...had season-highs wtih eight rebounds six assists.
High School: Prepped at Palma High School where he was a three-year letterwinner in basketball...helped lead the Chieftans to two league championships...during his high school career his squad posted an impressive 73-8 record, including going undefeated during the 1999 season and led his team to a Central Coast Section title that year...averaged 17.3 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and 3.5 steals per game...earned the Coaches Award, the Most Valuable Player award, and all-league laurels during his high school career.
