MBB | Gaels Announce Home and Home Series with Saint Louis to Start November 20, 2026 in Moraga

MORAGA, Calif. — Schedule building has begun for the 2026-27 Saint Mary's Men's Basketball campaign. The Gaels already have the 2026 Rady Children's Hospital Invitational set for November 26 and 27, and now have officially announced a home contest on November 20, as the Gaels play host to the Saint Louis Billikens as part of a home and home series. This series ensures a return game for the Gaels in Saint Louis in 2027-28 as well. The reigning A-10 champs, the Billikens are another top-tier mid-major program that should provide an excellent early test for the Gaels both in 2026 and 2027.
Like the Gaels, Saint Louis earned an at-large bid to last year's NCAA Tournament, following a program-record 29 wins season under second year head coach Josh Schertz. This will be just the second and third all-time meetings between these two mid-major powerhouses that have combined to go to 26 NCAA Tournaments. The only other meeting came in 1946, with the Gaels besting the Billikens 42-35.
