2006-07: Competed in the varsity-4 and the second varsity-8 boats for her sophomore season...helped the varsity-4 boat place third at the Sacramento Invitational...at the WCC Championships, she helped the junior varsity-8 team place fourth in their race, adding four points to the score for the Gaels; placing Saint Mary's second overall and setting a new record for the program.
2005-06: Rowed in the varsity-4 and novice-8 in her freshman season...helped row the varsity-4 boat to a third place finish at the WCC Championships...helped the novice-8 win the petite final in the WIRA Championships...helped the Gaels to an overall third place finish at the WCC Championships, the best finish in the history of the program.
High School: Prepped at Liberty High School in Bakersfield, CA...lettered in basketball and softball...was named the best defensive player on her basketball team.
Personal: Born Amy Nicole Romero to Vince and Mary Romero on July 16, 1987...plans to major in Accounting and Spanish...chose SMC because she liked the campus and its size.
