Senior midddle blocker Shannon Lowell was a big part of the Gaels sweep over Bay Area Rivals Santa Clara and USF, helping the Gaels improve to 12-6/4-1 WCC. For the week she recorded 19 kills, on 46 attempts with four errors for a .326 hitting percentage, with two digs and 14 total blocks.
In the four-set victory over Santa Clara she notched 12 kills on 26 swings for a .385 hitting percentage with a match-high nine total blocks. She wrapped up the weekend posting seven kills on 20 attempts with two digs and five total blocks in the straight-sets victory over USF.
