ROW | Varsity Eight Finishes Second At Sac Invitational

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Saint Mary's rowing team finished action at the Sacramento Invitational in its first official spring race of 2015. The Gaels were led by their varisty eight as SMC finished in second-place.
The SMC varsity eight finished with a time of 6:53, finishing behind Sacramento State. The Gaels defeated Humboldt State, Orange Coast College, UC San Diego and Mills.
The SMC 2nd varsity eight finished third with a time of 7:13, finishing behind Sacramento State and UCSD.
Also in action for the Gaels included the 2nd novice eight and novice eight with fifth place finishes. The SMC varsity four finished in fourth place. The novice four finished in fourth place while the second varsity four finished in fifth place.
