The Gaels picked up a number of wins during singles competition on the second day of the Bulldog Classic.
FRESNO, Calif. — Saint Mary's collected a number of singles wins on the second day of the Bulldog Classic from Fresno.
THE DRAW
In singles competition, Matis Bot and David Abfalter both picked up two wins and advanced to the championship matches. Bot started the day with a defeat (5-7, 6-3, 6-1) of Sacramento's Dom Miller and followed it up with a win against UNR's Jeremy Meriville (7-5, 6-0). Abfalter also collected wins, beginning with a win against John Horoz Garner, and then went on to defeat Alex Scemanenco from UCD 6-2, 6-1.
UP NEXT: DAY 3
Day 3 of the Bulldog Classic is set for Sunday as the championship matches will be played, along with any other consolation matches.
