Madeline Holland Earns Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

MORAGA, Calif. - Women's basketball sophomore Madeline Holland earned the title of Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week after fueling her team to a 2-0 road trip over UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly.

Holland collected her career-first double-double against the Mustangs on Saturday with 13 points and 10 assists while also contributing five rebounds and one steal. She was nearly perfect from beyond the 3-point arc, going 3-for-3 against Cal Poly and 2-for-3 against UCSB. Overall, she shot 50 percent with seven field goals in 14 attempts (.571 3-point percentage). For the week, the Burlingame, Calif. native averaged: 10.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.0 rebounds.

Holland is now averaging 7.0 points on the season along with 3.0 rebounds and 27.0 minutes all while shooting at a .421 clip (.444 3-point field percentage).
