MORAGA, Calif. - Friday's series opener between the Saint Mary's baseball team and West Coast Conference leader San Francisco has been postponed due to rain. The teams will now play a doubleheader on Sunday after their originally scheduled game on Saturday.
Saturday's 1 p.m. start will now act as the series opener, with Saint Mary's right-hander Nick Frank (2-4, 4.22 ERA) scheduled to face USF No. 1 starter Thomas Ponticelli (5-0, 1.81 ERA). Sunday's doubleheader will begin at 11 a.m., with the second game following approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.
