MORAGA, Calif. — No. 13 Saint Mary's will host Pacific on Wednesday for a mid-week matchup before traveling to Washington on Saturday to face off against Gonzaga. Wednesday's contest is at 3 p.m. while Saturday's game will begin at 7 p.m.

The Gaels are coming off a 1-0 victory over San Francisco as they earned their third-straight conference win and eighth clean sheet of the season. Jake Rudel recorded the lone goal for Saint Mary's as he scored in the second minute of action for his fifth goal of the year. SMC outshot USF 14-4 while tallying eight corner kicks.
Anders Engebretsen is at the forefront of the Gaels' efforts in West Coast Conference rankings as he ranks tied for first in assists (7) and game-winning goals (4). Engebretsen and Joseph Restani rank in the top-3 in the conference for total number of goals with 10 and nine, respectively.Â

Pacific owns a 4-8-1 overall record and are 1-2 in WCC action as they head into Wednesday's match against the Gaels. The Tigers are coming off their second straight loss as they fell 2-1 to Loyola Marymount in double overtime on Saturday. Despite a 1-1 tie in regulation, the Lions secured the victory in the 97th minute to take the win over Pacific.Â
Pacific is led by Anthony Orendain who has posted 23 shots while also recording two goals for the Tigers. Three other players have also tallied two goals a piece while Jose Angel Reyes has collected three assists to lead the team in that respective category. In net, Ethan Bandre has recorded 35 saves in 12 games played while picking up four wins, including one shutout.Â

Gonzaga has a 3-8-1 overall record and are currently 2-1-0 in the conference as they are coming off a 2-1 win over No. 18 San Diego on Saturday. In the contest, the Bulldogs recorded both of their goals in the second half to secure their second straight win.
Demetrius Kigeya and Theo O'Malley have each collected three goals so far this season while Kiyega has posted 28 shots and seven points to lead the team. Kigeya and O'Malley were each responsible for scoring the two goals in the matchup against San Diego. Goalkeeper Johan Garibay has collected 43 saves this year in 12 appearances.
The Gaels hold a 21-12-4 all-time record over Gonzaga with their last meetup coming in 2018 where SMC defeated the Bulldogs 1-0 at home. Saint Mary's has shutout Gonzaga in five of their six last matches.Â
