MORAGA, Calif. – Senior Anders Engebretsen has been named the Saint Mary's Student-Athlete of the Week for his stellar offensive effort during Senior Day last Saturday.

Engebretsen dominated on the field as he recorded three of the Gaels' five goals to record his first career hat trick. Engebretsen recorded his first tally off a penalty kick in the 35th minute and would go on to record the fourth goal of the day after sneaking the ball past the goalie within the first minute of the second half. The Oslo, Norway native completed the hat trick in the 60th minute off a second penalty kick following a foul on Jake Rudel. 

Following the two penalty kick goals, Engebretsen is now a perfect 8-for-8 on the season. He is just one tally away from tying San Diego's Miguel Berry in total goals to lead the conference.

Engebretsen and his teammates now look to the NCAA Tournament as they await their match on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. against the winner of UC Santa Barbara versus Cal, which will take place on Thursday.
