MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's (3-7) took care of business on Saturday as they handed the Aggies (3-9) a 6-1 thumping at the Moraga Country Club.
The Gaels took the doubles point from UCD with 6-3 wins on Courts 1 and 3. Hind Abdelouahid and Mariia Kozyreva won their match of the year together while Jordan Harris teamed up with Danielle McIntyre, who was making her first appearance in over a year, to clinch the point.
SMC nearly swept singles play with their only loss coming in three sets. Kozyreva, Clementine Clement, and Abdelouahid all won in straight sets on the top three courts while Liesl Pieters and Aubane Ville handled their opponents on Courts 5 and 6, respectively. Pieters had the most dominating performance in solo action with a 6-1, 6-0 win.
