Saint Mary's suffered a 4-0 loss in Berkeley on Sunday.

BERKELEY, Calif. — Saint Mary's dropped Sunday's match against No. 43 Cal 4-0 on Sunday.

The Golden Bears won both doubles sets on Courts 1 and 3 by a score of 6-2. Saint Mary's top doubles' tandem consisted of Matis Bot and Abhishek Bastola while Jackson Hawk and Brian Lee appeared on Court 3.

Three wins on the singles' courts would seal the match for Cal. Saint Mary's fell in each match in straight sets although Bot nearly took the first set against Bjorn Hoffman in the No. 3 slot. Freshman James Watt played as the Gaels' top singles player
