WBB | Basketball Announces Second-Annual Meet the Gaels Event

MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's women's basketball has announced their second-annual Meet the Gaels event which will consist of dinner, prize-drawings, a live auction, and much more.
The event will take place on October 12 at 5:00 p.m. in the Soda Center on the campus of Saint Mary's. The occasion is a great chance for fans, parents, and boosters to learn more about the team while helping raise funds for the women's basketball program.

The Gaels are coming off of yet another successful season in 2018-19, highlighted by their 10th-consecutive trip to the postseason, four Gaels receiving All-West Conference Awards, and their eighth-consecutive 20-plus win season. The team was also consistently ranked amongst the best in both the WCC and the country in many statistical categories: they were eighth in the nation in field goal percentage (47.9), 16th in both three-point field goal percentage (37.1) and rebound margin (8.3), and led the WCC in seven categories: assists (537), assists per game (16.3), defensive rebounds per game (30) – also sixth in the nation, field goal percentage, rebound margin, scoring offense (75.4 points per game), and three-pointers made (265).
