The first ever Virtual Steadauto.com Car Drawing took place on Monday, June 1. The event sold 385 tickets raising over $60,000 to benefit the Galloping Gaels Fund and student-athlete scholarships!    The program, which was streamed live on the SMCGaels Facebook page was hosted NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco. Matt was joined by Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Mike Matoso, and senior men's basketball guard, Tommy Kuhse. Watch a replay of the program HERE.   Long time Gaels supporter, Matt Westphal, was the big winner with ticket #146! Matt has generously declined to accept the Grand Prize. This has allowed Saint Mary's to create the 2020 Athletic Directors Student-Athlete Resource Fund. This fund will allow Saint Mary's College Athletics the opportunity to fund initiatives to benefit our student-athletes, including: * COVID-19 testing, ongoing planning and mitigation as we welcome our student-athletes back to campus. * Programming and guest speakers focused on diversity, inclusion and social justice   "On behalf of Bay Alarm Company, I am pleased to support Saint Mary's College and the Gaels student-athletes by utilizing our Steadauto.com Car Drawing Grand Prize to create the 2020 Athletic Directors Student-Athlete Resource Fund.
