LAST TIME OUT
Saint Mary's kicked off their final home stand of the year last week when they hosted Gonzaga and Portland, and the Gaels emerged victorious in both matches. They beat the Zags in five sets, using an incredible 26-kill performance from Hawley Harrer in the win. They came back on Saturday against Portland and did things in a quicker fashion, winning in three sets on their Senior Day. The Gaels had not won consecutive matches since they began WCC play 3-0 back in September.

HAWLEYDAY
While it wasn't quite the same performance that she racked up on Thursday, which saw her post a career-best 26 kills in the five-set win over Gonzaga, Hawley Harrer was still pretty dang good on her Senior Day. She was the team leader in kills with 15, which included 11 of those in the final two sets of the afternoon. She only had one error on the day as well, while adding six digs and an assist. In the two matches this week, Harrer totaled 41 kills, easily her best two-week stretch of the season.

ABOUT SANTA CLARA
The Broncos are making the most out of the ending of their season, having won three-straight matches after a six-game losing streak in the middle of WCC play.  Those three wins came against Gonzaga, Portland, and San Francisco, with the win over the Dons taking place in three sets on Friday evening. Despite their lackluster record, they do have some standout performers, including Julia Sangiacomo, who leads the West Coast Conference with 422 kills, and Kat Georgiadis, who has 429 digs on the year, one of the best marks in the conference. They do allow teams to hit at a .265 clip, the worst in the WCC.
